Plz tell me subtle deference between “oneiric” and “dreamish”(or dreamlike, dreamy).
Let me introduce myself. I’m japanese wizone. 25 years old, male. I watched izone’s MV on youtube in mid March. It was my first contact with izone.
Since then, I listened their songs, watched their MVs, and ENOZI-CAMs, as if like recovering fictional time deeply into izone.
It’s a so nice experience. Long time no hot feelings. They thoroughly excited me.
BTW my bias is yena. She is so talented, cute, funny, and kind.
3 month later, IZ*ONE’s new album was out. It’s “Oneiric diary”. I didn’t know what does “oneiric “ means. The dictionary says “like dreamish, dreamlike, dreamy”.
I have questions. What is oneiric’s nuance?
How deferent between oneiric and dream~?
About this word, the dictionary also says “it is rare”. So native English speakers usually don’t use this word?
If so, then I have more questions immediately. Why izone chose “oneiric” as title? "dream~" is not suitable? What is their intention?
I haven’t thought about lyric meanings. I can’t read Korean. Perhaps lyric has important key to solve this puzzle... but I don’t know.
